Burst Cherry Tomatoes

It's definitely not tomato season. I know you can get tomatoes this time of year, but the ones available at the grocery store are even more bland than in the summer (homegrown tomatoes are life).

If you're going to go for off-season tomatoes, grab some cherry tomatoes as they tend to have the best flavor and most sweetness this time of year. If you get them home and they’re bland after all, pop 'em in the oven and make burst cherry tomatoes. The high heat will concentrate the flavor and bring out the sweetness even more.

Burst Cherry Tomatoes

Preheat the oven to 450

Toss the cherry tomatoes with a little olive oil and salt. Pop in the oven for 10 minutes. Let cool slightly before enjoying.
